On 29-30 April we have attended the first in-person Forum for the Next Stage initiative, a new project coordinated by Opera Europa and FEDORA Platform dedicated to innovation in the performing arts on the topics of sustainability, inclusivity and digital transformation.
Hosted by Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Dusseldorf, we have spent two very intense days partaking in meetings and listening to presentations, discovering best practices that make the theatre a more accessible, sustainable and digital place.
On this occasion we presented our “Sensory Theatre” project, pre-selected for the Next Stage funding. Curated by Opera Education and nominated in collaboration with Opéra Grand Avignon, the project is aimed at the young “Opera domani” audience and, in particular, at children with visual and hearing impairments.
